The Spirit Of A Woman
So strong, so beautiful and intriguingly complex;
So loving, so caring and amazingly blessed;
So neglected, so raped, so cheated and exiled;
So compassionate, so forgiving, of our souls so vile;
So knowledgeable I ask, only to receive by bounty;
I feel, I yearn, for her wisdom rivals money;
She turns, I reach, she runs, I jog;
She laughs, I smile, she cries, I hug;
Impossible is possible when her ka is visible;
She pushes and screams, reproduction is incredible!;
She germinates and fortifies adolescent counterparts with ease;
Neither poverty nor turmoil can limit the trajectory of her wings;
So one must be compelled by her gussy spiritual composition;
Her flawless imagination, who's inevitably responsible for the dawn of all creation;
Even our statue of Liberty is a woman, how ironic is that?;
Fundamentally peaceful and free, I pray she teaches every man!;

Close Your Eyes
This utopia that I will speak about isn't a myth/
A place where I could call me own and even trust my friends/
A place where people don't have to worry about jobs slumping/
Or teenage pregnancies won't randomly occur like it's nothing/
I see wars from country to country ceasing to exist/
You say how? cause I know my people are tired of it/
Our kids would be the prime focus of our lives/
Expose them to violence, I fear their generation will die/
Lies or jealousy won't be tolerated in this world/
No trace of Aids or any other plagues to currupt our world/
Our women won't be abused or misused, could you believe?/
Instead of crucifying them let's treat them as loyal queens!/
Our churches would be purified at their most/
Eradicate the homeless and provide them with homes/
No more homocides would be reported on the news/
Where education is a must have, I think it's a valuable tool/
This is a place where ALL your dreams have to come true/
Impossible people say, nobody BELIEVES my truth/
Nah! who was I kidding? It was never meant to be/
This dream, but when I close me eyes this is what I see/
......................................................................................................
Set Me Free
If you choose, Here's some food/
I know your hungry, Just love me and trust me/
If you need, A family/
Come to me, My love is deep/
No refuge to stay, well here's my place/
The couch you laid, You don't have to pay/
What is this? Who's your friend?/
You did me in, This is the end/
I'm all alone, Mostly broke/
Wanted more, My body cold/
Anger inside, Made me cry/
Too many lies, I'm dying inside/
I searched for help, To Convalesce myself/
Picked up and dialed, Talked for a while/
It's unrealistic to believe, what said to me/
I felt some relief, Since you set me free/
